Everest Region

The Everest region trek, which has the second-most tourists after the Annapurna region trek, boasts the most stunning and dramatic scenery in all of Nepal. The Sagarmatha National Park protects the region, which is home to the Yeti, highland Sherpas, and Mt. Everest (8848m), the highest mountain in the world. Red pandas, snow leopards, musk deer, Himalayan tahr, marten, and pika (Himalayan mouse) are just a few of the animals that call the national park home. Gokyo, Khumbu, and Imja valleys are excellent examples of the rich monastic culture and traditions practiced by highland residents. The passes over 5000 meters, Kongma-la, Cho-la, Renjo-la, Tashi Lepcha, Amphu Le Awe-inspiring adventure activities in the Everest region include the hike to Fifth Lake, the Khumbu Glacier to the foot of Mount Everest at Base Camp, and the Kalapatthar Hike to view Everest.

The Everest region offers a variety of trekking choices, ranging from easy to difficult climbing and expeditions. The Gokyo and Kalapatthar Everest Base Camp Trek is the most popular trekking route. There is little doubt that the area utilized numerous detours and even provided secluded pathways to Pelkey and Hinku Valley.
